GReddy BOV

Ok Well Tonight Im Going Get The Type Rs And Put It On And Go From There. Ill Keep You Updated

Just run the dual setup. Bov and bpv. this way you do not have to cut up your pipes and you don't have to relocate your maf that was designed to be where it is stock. You will have to get a small nipple welded onto your hotpipe however.

well, i went on a got the type rs yday and put it in. and i still got the turkey a little. how did you get rid of it without adjusting it all the way soft. which will cuz it to stall

Adjust the BOV a bit on the harder side to begin with and work on it from there. Keep adjusting it softer and softer until you like the setting. You will find a setting where the turkey disappears and you'll get more of the pressure released from the BOV.

You need to drive your car of course after each adjustment so active pressure builds up from the turbo. Just hitting the throttle with the car parked will give you an unaccurate setting.

can i relocate the maf if im runing unichip

i dunno the answer, but i think that you might run into some problems cause when you relocate your MAF you get a much more accurate reading, But im not 100% sure.

But i ended up getting the HKS BOV, its ver. 2 and im still get some turkey, and i dont thing you can adjust it. But it doesnt sound that bad with the purple insert.

relocating the maf does not give you a more accurate reading.

well im my case it did cause i was using a BOV that was venting, cause when i relocated it, i had to tune it again. So it depends on your setup.

you had to retune the car because it was reading differently. differently and more accurately are two different things. the maf can measure the intake air much better than pressurized air.

so is it a no go to relocate while venting with the rs and runing unichip???

if you plan to run the unichip do not relocate your MAF, the unichip is designed to run with the MAF in the stock location, with a relocated MAF it can cause problems for the engine

i don't know if ya'll are past this or not..

but i use the old-school HKS (from the hiboost kit) and it stalls if i vent, but is totally fine if i recirculate. The car is actually faster as well... which makes sense because i won't be running pig-rich between shifts.

HEY DUDE... RIGHT NOW IM RUNNING THE RS BOV (VENT) WITH MAF RELOCATED. SO FAR IVE HAD NO PROBLEMS EXCEPT FOR THE RUNNING LIL RICH BETWEEN SHIFTS.
