Hay have any of you guys ever used this before with your RS
My BOV is acting retarted, the diaphram is good and its oiled. if its to soft then i run rich and stall but if its to hard then i get the turkey.
I really dont want to buy a new BOV. Let me know if you guys have heard of this actually working.

.. I adjusted my RS until I found a happy medium. I don't stall, and I don't have any hint of turkey. Can't you do the same? Just adjust the valve until you've found that same middle-ground?

Have you relocated your MAF?

No i didnt relocate my MAF, but i do want to though. I was using one spring and it was working fine, no turkey and no stalling. But once i added the GT28RS it was staying open at idle so i tried each spring by itself and they where to soft and then i put in both springs and its turkey or stall. Are you running the GT28RS rush, and how many springs are you using.

Thanks.

hey fatti03msp does the geddy bov hook up to the hsk bypass flange

no they are different flanges, i wish they where the same.

This is the GReddy

But as i look at the pics i wonder if you could put the HKS flange on top of the GReddy flange???

i know that the new hks bov would not work. i was talking about the one that came with the hiboost fmic kit.

Ya the flanges are the same. Thats how i have mine setup right know. and it worked well untile BOV started going. But ya it does work.

GOOD I FEEL A LOT BETTER NOW. ANOTHER QUESTION WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY"and it worked well untile BOV started going"? WHEN YOU HAD THAT OLD HKS BOV DID U HAVE A LOT OF TURKEY?

i never used the old HKS, the guy that had my car before me had the GReddy, so i just used it, i never tried the HKS. I really need to find it though.

Nah Dont When I Got My Car It Had The Hiboost Fmic With The Hks Bov. And Its Making The Turkey And Stallin Out On Me. Thats Why I Want To Get Another Bov.

well since you have the flange i would say get a greddy typer RS thats what i have. But if you can find a type S then get that one they are better IMO

Oh Really, Do You Have To Do A Lot Of Adjusting To The Greddy Type Rs So You Dont Have Turkey And Stalling?

there is alot of adjusting but when you get it just right i think it sounds a million time better then the HKS IMO

ya i have mine vent and i also relocated my MAF behind my BOV, since you have the HiBoost FMIC your flange is up by your batter.(thats where mine was), So i had to cut up the cold pipe and get the section of pipe that has the flange welded down closer the IC, and then i put the MAF where the Flange for the BOV used to be, and NP im always needing help to lol, this is my first turbo car. Not sure if you know but if you are venting and dont relocate you maf that can lead to stalling and running very rich conditions.
