GPS 2D Map not rotating

Did not find any info about this here but whenever I use the 2D map it doesn't rotate to the direction that I am going. The map stays with North and if i make a turn and head west the car marker is that one that rotates and the map stays put. Can be quite hard to read that way. I like 2D maps because they are simple and I can see and plan better.

I agree always use the plan view north orientated, never the birds eye view.

Its the same view as a map, so easy to read.
