Got My Protege5 Today

Bought my P5 today. It's black mica M5 with leather, roof rack, ABS, polished wheels, moonroof and 6 CD. I wanted the auto-dim mirror, but the dealer wanted $400 to install it. I told them forget it. Maybe I can do it myself, have to look into that. It also has a subwoofer which the sticker said 'no charge'. I wasn't aware that it was a no charge option.

If you have a 2003.5, then the car came standard with the subwoofer and the roof rack was extra $.

The rear tire well sub is available online, I found it for $45. It's a 100 watt powered sub, and, from what I've heard, our cars have the wiring harness built in on the drivers side in the rear ready to go. Anyone hooked one up?

Yup, bought it from Brown's through the Costco buying program. I was pleased with the salesman and the process, but there was still some negotiating to be done.

I live in Centreville and my shop is in Chantilly (not a bad commute, huh?), so if you see a black P5 with paper tags, it's most likely me. There really aren't many of them around here.

If ya don't mind me asking what did you get the car for? I just bought my MP5 from Brown's a couple of weeks ago. I had to haggle my ass off with them and I'm curious how I did compared with Costco. BTW, I work in Chantilly as well.
