Got my ebay intake. (install pics too)

Here is the intake installed. Now, i'll show you how we bent the brackets.

This one goes from the batt box to the MAF, we made an L and then twisted it enough to contact the MAF.

This one we bent L shaped and then put a twist in the braket and had it slip under the hose clamp.

This supports the filter from two cruicial area's..

4 Days and it's still very strong.

the intake is powdercoated aluminium.

sounds great! It screams at 3000+ rpm

the filter is not a k&n, some cheap knockoff.

Does anyone have a real k&n on theirs?

The sound is very very nice on intakes, and very loud from outside the car so I've been told. Plus can't miss the hiss noise and its when you turn the car off

woo, got mine installed, at first, it rubbed the brake cylinder so we bent the brackets...it was alarming, when i first started testing it, the gas pedal stuck going up my street. in about 10 minutes of driving, it happened twice. did anyone else have this problem????

looks great... but just a warning.. the battery tray seems extremely weak to me... so putting all the weight there is not the best idea...

i bolted mine to the left of the maf where the engine is instead of the right on the battery tray... b/c as you throttle, engine goes up and @ the same time the intake goes up... but it's all good...

run your car for about 30min or longer and tell me if the piping is hot. i'm not trying to make you burn your hand, but i wanna figure out if it stays cooler than the plastic.

hey mx3ownzj00...the piping gets sorta hot, but not to where it really burns, id say its cooler than the plastic, but its warm
