well my dad did but i ordered it! i steered him away from dell just before he threw in his CC number on the dell website (fukin $3500CDn for a laptop with a bad ass GFX5200go POS 32mb vid card )

im am also getting this laptop once i save up enough wooden nickles

even 2 512MB SODIMMS are friggin $600 dollars
at a local computer store i can get those both for $350 and its brandname Micron higherspeed ram (pc2100 Vs PC2700)

anywho dell isn't 100% evil, their pocket pc's kick ass, im actaully selling my ipaq and getting an Axim lol

damn, dell is a rip off. Nice choice though on the lap-top. Personally, i want to get a MAC lap-top. They are really reible, but are hella expensive, same with IBM, they are good too. ANyways congrats on that nice lap-top.

What are you putting on the Dell (inspiron 8600?) to run you 3500$ CDN

I don't see why you would need 2GB ram on a laptop. I am in no way supporting dell, I own a Dell laptop and am not that thrilled with it, HD died in half a year
