Got a chance to drive a prototype MS6

Pretty nice. Since it was a proto I'm hoping they fix a lot of stuff. The gearbox was a POS! Way too close. And by that I mean the difference between reverse and 1st was only by 3/4". There was no unlocking system usually fonnd in 6-speeds. And in shifting the gearbox just felt very loose and slopy. As for the power, I think it was average. But as far as the powerband, not so good. The car just gave up after 5K rmp. Again, I hope all of this is due to the fact it was a prototype.

Mike- I assume you drove it at the MPG track day last week?

The crusher cars like the one you drove were the previous gearing, and ECU's I'm sure have been tweaked since the crusher cars were built.

Linkages have been improved as well.

My car should be here next week - I can't wait.
