good price for these emblems?

I am getting a pair of these emblems for 32 shipped. not through ebay.

I want to use em to replace the side turn signals on my car so when I do the celica side markers there aresnt 2 sets of white markers on the side of the car.

I figure this would cover the holes well, especially if I fill em first.

well they should be big enough to cover where the smaller side turn signals are(the ones closest tot he doors) and that my plan for them.

The guy I am getting them from I actually found through ebay but will be doing the purchase outside of ebay so he and i can avoid the ebay5% cut and he can give me a better deal. cause it looks like on ebay you would have to pay 30 for the first and like 15-20 for the second and IM getting both(a pair) for 32 shipped.

The reason the other pictures of the same emblem on ebay look shittier is the lighting and camera used, they all should look like the one I pictured above.

well i had thought about that authenticity or not, according to this guy he actually gets these from japan, mostly wrecked cars, cause his site has alot of toyota and lexus emblems for sale also.

Personally i dont care if their not authentic cause they are exactly what I am looking for and look good. at least it isnt like a sticker or somethin.

just saw some og the ones listed actully say first quality replica or style meaning that they are exact replics since those are allowed to be made in the JDM i thought. still not sure though. I like it either way.

the badge design does not meet Mazda marketing dept's graphic design specifications (logo/letter sizing and spacing). Furthermore, the conflicting "Mazda Motor Sports" and the "Ms" logo makes that even more obvious... Instead of saying "Mazda Motor Sports", it should have said "Mazdaspeed" since there is a "Ms" logo (which exists)... and even so, the word "Mazda" is off horizontal center, and is too small and too close to the "Ms" logo... Also, I have not heard of Mazda Motorsports (an organization that exists within MNAO) manufacturing these out-of-spec badges

so, in other words the seller is full of s***... it looks nice, but it's not worth the 32 bucks considering the cost of manufacturing those

FYI, there are *only* 8 authentic Mazdaspeed badges... they are:

keep in mind its basically a domed sticker...the protegeonline.com mp5 ones are $8 each i think.

havent bought them yet or anything, just seeing if it was a good deal and it appears not, but then again everyone has to make a profit.

Since there are no REAL oval MS or MMS badges and I wanted it to be oval or round I might still go with these as 99% of the population wont know the difference, even most car show judges wont know the specs and details like TheMan does.

I dont know, the more i look at mitches badges the more i like em so by the time i order in the next 2-3 days I might switch over to those.

The 'real' Mazdaspeed is actually a Japanese company owned by Mazda of Japan. Who does in fact make and has made MANY different emblems, badges, and stickers over the years. Mazdaspeed of Japan parts can NO longer be sold here by Mazda of U.S.A. The only places to get Mazdaspeed here now are places that import Japanese parts. I think Cork Sport is pretty much the ONLY company in the U.S. that even bothers with it anymore. (I just posted that info in another thread I think)

The ones on Ebay I was told were made in Canada. They are not real Mazdaspeed of U.S.A. or Mazdaspeed of Japan.

Regardless, they look like a pretty good quality part and kind of unique. A little busy for my taste however.

What don't you get about that? You don't know that Mazdaspeed is a company in Japan or something? Mazdaspeed is a company in Japan, yes. They have nothing to do with the Mazdaspeed we know of in the U.S. The real Mazdaspeed makes badges and emblems and have been for years.

I kept looking at those and was thinking as much as I liked them, and I like mitches as much, I would know(as matt already said) that they arent real and may be some sweat shop product or something that looks good now but may fall apart.
