Well.. I'm going to be slowly purchasing the best products I can get... even though it's going to cost more.. I don't want my car to be just thrown together like a POS.. I wanna do it right, and do it once. So.. on that note, what are some good mods to start out with? Right now I have the Injen CAI.. what should I get next.. I was thinking possibly tranny fluid (what one should I get?). What do you guys think I should get next?

hard pipes, downpipe/turbo back exhaust, fmic, fpr and mbc/ebc should be in there as well.

as for tranny fluid, redline is reported to be a good choice. either that or royal purple.

get yourself a full exhaust setup with downpipe. thats where youll notice the most gains aside from upping your boost. downpipes and exhaust get much better gains on turbo'd cars. i would recommend 3" tubing.

Dont forget the FMIC, helps fight heatsoak.
Fluids are also a good investment. Use synthetic oil after the first oil change for better protection, tranny will shift smoother with redline or gm syncromesh tranny fluid.

3" is to big, unless you plan on running upwards of 450 whp go with 2.5".

i would say start off with gauges/datalogging stuff if you want to do it right and only have to do it once. then a way to tune everything right so you get the most power with each thing you do, and can even extract more power in stock form.

3in is too big... A lot of kids i know on turbo cars are NOTT pushing 450 and run 3in tubing and they love it and noticed huge power gains. IE supra rx-7

maybe 450hp is a bit high before switching to 3", but for this car in anything close to stock form 2.5" will do. there will be minimal power gains, but maximum noise gains, which may make you think you have more power (just ask a honda owner)

http://buschurracing.com/faq_dsm_int_ex.html has some info on piping size, and buschur knows what he's doing.

has anyone with a full 3" exhaust experienced boost creep?

Supras and RX-7's are a totally different setup. I'm taking about making gains, and for this car 3" is practically useless. I doubt any of us are going to see even 400 whp in the near future so stick with 2.5".

BTW, there is not way in hell this turbo is gonna push 400 hp in stock form.

kiss my rice burning ass... going with the 3inch size does matter im sure it wont make a difrence but its still bad ass to say u have a 3inch pipe

edit wow i dont make anysence when ive been drinking
