you really should get one and BUILD credit. its pretty important. Buying a car doesn't give you credit unless you get a loan, or something else with payments/etc

Doesn't surprise me. Credit card companies give cards and credit so easily it's just funny to have them send you cards with funny names and just never activate them. The more credit they give, the more you can slip up and not have the cash to pay up later - millions of college students in debt can't be wrong - but hey, I got tons of free little gifts from credit card companies hounding students on campus (thumb)

i went to the dealership seeing if i wanted to buy a new car, they told me what my credit score was, no need to pay

i'm sure you can, they'll take any money they can get. i put my deposit on my cc for this car, it was only $500 but still, they aren't gonna complain about money

Note: Everytime you apply for a CC your credit rating drops 5 points. So think about it next time you feel like getting a free gift.

yeah, i havent signed up for a new card in years. Also, i dont close accounts, that hurts your score as well.
