Gold Line Springs???

Well, I called Speed People back yesterday and they hadn't finished cancelling my order yet (for whatever reason) so I asked them to change my order to a set a of the P5 Eibachs. I just had to pay the difference. I am going to call them again just to make sure that the order is correct. .35" isn't that much of a difference anyway and Eibach is a solid product. Anyway, I'll keep ya'll posted.

Thank you.. it is appreciated... how much were the eibachs normally? I dont know about eibach though, I remember in my 200 sx, they gave me a rough ride..moreso than in any other car I have been in with a variety of springs.
-thanks once again.. -AcTs

The ones I bought were 225.00. I'm sure you could get them around $200. I just went for convienence in this case rather than price. Eibach has a great name in springs, a lot of it is about taste. I like super-stiff racing suspensions on my cars, even though I drive it everyday. That is my preference, that is why I went with Eibach.

I have always wanted them since the first day they made them . but the drop is too subtle for me .. I dont want to slam her but 1.4 and 1.2 is not low enough .. so when i heard Gold line was making them and I have used gold line springs on close to 2 dozen project cars .. I fell in love with the ride .they are a little softer ride then the eibachs but i mean they cost way less and have the life time garruntee of no sag also life time warrenty .. + they are made from the same man that created eibach ... I had to get them and will

Mp5raycer- Now you make me want them even more.. I wish that maxspeed made springs for our rides, because in my 2k2 maxima, those are the best springs I have had ... progress sucked, eibach was rough, and something techniques were weak as hell... but the maxspeed are sweet and remain on my max now.. I am hoping that goldline will pu these out for the pro5, I am willing to wait and get them..so all that remains is if and when..
If anyone hears when they come out, please notify me..
thanks.

Supposedly my Eibachs are shipping today. We'll see. Did anyone else notice that Speed People took Gold Line stuff for the Protege off of the web site?

Called Speed People again today (Wednesday), and they said they are shipping on Friday (6/6/03). And that I can call back for tracking #'s then... I asked them if they were sure this time and he said yeah, we'll see when I call next monday.

where can i find a set of goldline springs.. speedpeople.com don't carry them anymore.. just got and email back from them today...HELP please....

crazyd, did you ever get your springs from them?? i finally posted some pics of mine with my bumper and skunk2 coilovers in the photo/video section, check it out when you get time and let me know what you think, also post some pics of yours when you get them on, im interested in seeing how it turns out.

I now have a tracking # for my springs but according to that it just says "Billing Information Recieved". I am getting the Eibachs since they worked with me and gave me NICE discount for my trouble. I am strictly working with the manager now because the other guys aren't very helpful and the manager is cool. I hope to have them this week so that I can put them on this weekend, we'll see. I have been waiting since 4/25/03 for springs from these guys. I'm going to hop over to Photo/Video so I can check out your ride no1stunna. Peace.

I emailed goldline and inquired about p5 springs a couple of weeks ago. The response I got was that they will be ready to ship on the week of the 23rd.

Also, the only difference between the P5 springs and the existing ones are spring height. Word right from the guys at goldline.

Alexatwork - could i get the email address you used to contact Goldline. I'm lookin for a price for 03 protege es... thanks

I talk to gold line once or twice a week . and they are STILL testing these springs ... also for 100% clearification .. www.speedpeople.com did not drop the gold line series although they did remove there stuff of of there website .. but it is simply due to pricing restructer .. there prices are going up .. also speed people is going through another distributer to get them i guess ... so they get a better price on them not to sure though why ... but all is well adn still proojected to get my first set of them in a week or so

I'm an impatient bastard and the goldline p5 springs have been pushed back to july.

I talked to my guy at a local shop here and he told me the regular protege springs from goldline will fit my car. After emailing goldline, they told me that the only difference is rear spring height, between pro and pro5. Spring rates are the same.

This might be what I'm looking for because of all the p5's I've seen with drop springs, the backend looks jacked up. From some info I've read through, the p5 sets drop the back LESS than the protege kits, on springs of the same brand/make.

So what I did, in all of my impatient glory, is ordered a set of protege springs from Goldline. If they don't fit, oh well.. I'll get a different set. I don't feel like waiting anymore.

They should be here within a couple of days.
