WOW, I just finished installing my Injen, and holy s*** it sounds killer!!!!!! Anyone who doesn't have one, go out and get one you will not be disapointed! I have already scared a few people on the sidewalk!! Car pulls harder to and the turbo sounds louder. All in all 200 bucks well spent!

I plan on getting one after the holidays when I have time to work in the garage at my folks home. It's a little to cold to try installing one outside. I notice from the 1/4 mile post that the intake does help this car get into the lower 15s. Not bad for $200 and a half hour.

Yeah I installed mine in my garage, I just closed the door and turned a heater on. It was nice and toasty for the install. It took about 2 hours to install to. Well worth it though!

Mine is on the way, I cant wait to get in installed. I want to hear the BPV after the install to hear just how much louder it is.

Matt

Injen makes a nice kit,
I was going to get on before I decided to go "Forced Induction"

Good s***.

P.S. It comes in more colors, don't settle for red if you dont have to!!!

I like mine , it takes about 30/45 minutes if u dont **** around , but if ur like me and oops I forgot or have a cig. then it will be about two hours. Thats what it took me.

After I put it on I decided to check out the spin , nice spin in 1st and carried in to 2nd. I don't know if it would do that anyway though ? never tried.

And has anyone dyno there cars with the CAI and reflash??
I've done mine w/ a G-Tech Pro (+/- 1HP accuracy) and got an average of 161.83 WHP running in 2nd gear. I have the Injen & the "flash" as my only mods. I didn't get to do a baseline w/ stock airbox, though.

Threadjack...
My cousin has a G-Tech Pro and we get pretty accurate 1/4 mile times, but our hp numbers seem way off...how exactly do you go about getting the hp numbers?

hey guys I used to have the ingen intake, but when I bought my FMIC the shop took it off and made a custom intake right off the turbo and it sounds a little different. Kinda like a airplane or rocket
You guys should see if you can get someone to make something kinda custom and get rid of the rest of the oem plastic.
just trying to help(no flames please)

where is the cheapest place to get the injen CAI?

Adventon.com has the cheapest price at $203 or so plus shipping. Everyone else is either $50 or $75 higher.

did chillin get his for 200 bills?....if not then ill get that from adventon.com

couple things...

gcottonOK....the new Injen CAI's are complete from turbo to MAF, then down in front of wheel well w/ cone filter (...no longer just from the MAF to filter)

03MSPFor the G-tech, make sure you are on a very level parking lot or road, and try to get an accurate weight put in....that's the key (I ****** around w/ it, and it will be way off w/ a bad weight) Curb weight is 2843 lbs (full tank, no passengers)..make sure you add how much you weigh +/- gas difference & s*** in trunk, etc... Also, be sure you have it zero'd as best possible...then it'll give you the "go" to do your run...I went to 2nd, then ran it up to redline.

mborg1Chillin might have bought his from someone else (I remember someone selling a new Injen CAI on this board for ~$200 shipped....he may have snagged it) Adventon is the best price that I've found.

SirJaime That's from our Dec. 13 NJ/PA meet
