Based solely on cost for materials if we can get 5 people interested it should be sub 300 for carbon fiber, less for fiberglass.

Obviously cost will go down if interest and number made goes up

yupp thats the CSL trunk. I'm trying to get one for my 3series. They're extremely sharp trunks! I'd definitely be interested for my mazda too!

I was looking at the protege trunk and it'd be hard to make it flow like that. Our tail lights don't have the lines to make it look good.

If anyone has more suggestions pleAse let me know though, I love it!

I can see what you mean by the flow of the trunk. Might have to make some end pieces that attach to the body but not to the center piece to allow the center to move with the trunk.

OR

You could make it one piece that only attaches to the trunk and just has some pads at the ends where it touches the body of the car. This way you have the look of one uniform piece but allows for the contours of the trunk.
