Nah- I'm good, man. My front license plate holes are all jacked up anyway. I was just saying it's cool when members make their own parts and then offer them to other members for a great price. Kudos to you, mate.
yeah i was selling the JDM ones before on ebay and on the "other" forum... all gone... sells like hot cakes @ $25 a piece + shipping so at the price the OP is thinking is a great deal depending on the quality of the final product
the JDM ones are made by carmate and so far i've seen two designs... the one that is in the pictures above looks like the v.1 carmate... the version i have is the GT version... the GT version is made with lighter material and has less mass.
great to see someone trying to fab these up... more for cosmetic purpose but i also believe it direct more air towards the front mount and puts a little more downforce on the front of your bumper
it should;nt be hard at all to make these.. just two strips of metal, a vice, and a hammer would probably take care of about 80% of the fab work
P.S
OP i have a spare v.1 tilt bracket by carmate if you need a template... the only thing with the JDM tilt brackets is that the actual piece that connects to the license plate is off (i guess Japan license plates have the holes in different spots) but the side that connects to the bumper is perfect
okay so im going to make mine after school today. now on mp3 msp and p5 bumpers, i know there is that spot to mount the plate. is there any curve in that or is it straight?
