505Zoom has suggested temporarily making the forums require you signup to view the thread. That would cut down on a lot of the people coming her to just view the GI threads. I honestly think that would be the best solution.

So, according to Kooldino, if things don't settle down by tomorrow night some steps will be taken. I agree that it's gonna take more than a couple days for this to settle. the amount of forums that thread has been linked to is crazy.

Well, I am sure it is costing more $ for the website, now that we have probably blown up the max. bandwidth. I am gonna donate $5 to help, and possible win the Rockblocker.

The whole thing was kinda funny. Honestly I think i've seen dozens other threads on here that were way funnier. People got too caught up in spreading the ownage though. I mean the point was made, GI sucks donkey balls. Then everyone decided to crosspost it on every forum they've ever heard of and turn it into the Great Internet Forum Rollcall. It really shouldn't have ever been this popular in the first place.

Every member who posted a link on other forums should go back and delete the link. This is the first time I've been able to really get on the forums all day.

That will never happen. The thread will have to get locked so no more posts cna be made, then it will calm down. hopefully.
