Im sure the whole 3" setup from the DP back is the way to go. Problem is, im looking to minimize noise and until i move forward with the turbo upgrade, i dont feel like taking that downpipe off more than one.
With the stock cats on this system, it is pretty mellow cruising. Absolute no droning at all which is nice. Car sounds like a WRX now. Get on the throttle and its pretty growly. You can really here the turbo spool. As ken says, it makes breaking your tires loose in third really easy. Its going to be pretty damn loud when i put the test pipe on, i know that much, lol. Ill get pics up soon and some sound clips.
Note to those who install it yourself. System assembly is nice, hardly any wrestling needed with the pipe, slipping them in. Their band clamps work real well with the system. Dont bother tightning the clamps down all the way until you have the tip how you like it. Theres alot of play with the last piece. Mine is angled toward the left a little, directly in the middle. If you push the hanger all the way through into the grommet, your pipe with sit to the right , rubbing against the right side inner exhaust cutout.. It will melt, so be sure to check this part before wrenching it down. Tip polished up real nice with mothers alumn polish.
Thanks again Ken!
