GForce Performance Chip

:
2.0L SKYACTIV G, ITR Trim, 6-SPEED MANUAL TRANS 2W FWD
I just purchased a new 2012 Skyactive to take advantage of the 30+ MPG. My First Mazda also:)

I love the gas mileage but I miss having power behind the throttle.

What I would like is to have Mazda 3 drivers that have already used this chip to comment on the end result and performance of the vehicle after installation. I know there are other forums that people have posted a large list of bad things about GForce Chips but they never show proof of the damage being done to their own vehicle... Thanks everyone for replying to my post.

If you don't agree with installing a chip then let me know how to get better performance at around $500.00 or less.

Save your money man. Generally, these chips are just a resister in a fancy box. It has been noted again and again that they offer no performance gain whatsoever. Do a quick search on Google, don't waste your money.

As for gains in performance for under $500, I'm not a professional in this area, however I have just added an SRI to my 2011 Mazda 3 2.5L S and love it. It may be all in my head, but the car feels a bit quicker after installing it, sounds a million times better. The other members of this forum will most likely be able to give you much better advice:) again, do not waste your money on that chip lol.

G force chip is a bunch of crap. A friend of mine ordered one and I quickly told him to throw it away. It's a bunch of cheap parts you can get at Radio Shack and they sell it for...let me guess, $70? Just look into getting some minor bolt ons

I too am interested in boosting my stock 167hp in my 2012 GT sedan (6 speed manual). I'd like to get at least 200hp if possible. Willing to spend up to a grand. I am completely useless, so I'll need someone to do it all. Suggestions?

Im with you on that one same ride and same situation. However a turbo costs a pretty penny. I heard that on our cars, exhaust and intake doesn't increase hp because the way the engine is design, however i heard that headers will prove some gain, and now im just passing on the information. Also the intake and exhaust only give us the gains once we add the turbo later on. let me know what you find as well
