Getting a new system

Well I just bought the Kenwood Excelon KDC-789 and it is installed but.. there was a security code so i will not get to hear it tomorrow...

On order...

2 - 12 in. Sub- KFC-XW1202DVC
Amp- KAC-X621

One question... do the steering wheel controls work with HU I wont know myself till I get the security lock off...

Unless that deck has a wire in the harness that works with the car's steering wheel controls (and you'd have to explicity hook up that wire), then, no. However, you should be able to get the PAC SWI-X adaptor that will make the controls function. You'll need to do some work though to find a place for the transmitter "eye" and wire it up. I did this with my Alpine and it works great. See here if it's something you'd be interested in.
