Get off the friggin road!

Well the morning comute was fun today. Back roads were covered in snow, highway was all wet ans slushy in a few spots. Definately the kind of weather were you need a little extra space between you and the guy infront of you.
Anyhow getting off of 146 to get onto the the mass pike there was an accident between a nice shiney black GTI and a nice shiney blue WRX. GTI hit the WRX. I couldn't see any serous damage, probably a dented fender or two, nothing serious.

But the two dipshits driving parked their cars RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD while they exchanged insurance. Its already a tricky spot to merge, the offramp from 146 makes a sharp right hook at the very end and merges with 4-5 lanes of traffic. There is a light about 150 ft away and the entrance to the mass pike (I-90) is a left turn at the light. The set up leaves people coming from the 146 offramp fighting to get over to the left if they want to get on I-90. It also means alot of people are looking back over their shoulder at the end of the offramp to see if its safe to merge/ cut across 4 lanes. These two idiots were sitting at the end of the offramp, blocking up the two most right lanes. I was waiting for someone else to come up the ramp, look back over their shoulder and plow into the back of the GTI. Infact I was hoping for it.

Neither of them had their hazzards on to boot.

For the love of christ! Pull the F off to the side of the road!

I guess I would be inclined to park my car someplace where it wouldn't recieve more damage, possibly endanger my health right after getting into an accident. I would at least put my hazzards on.

Its crap like that that causes way too many other accidents. I don't know how it is anywhere else but around here ... if there is a car pulled over on the freeway it automatically makes people drive ignorantly.

I cant stand people that think they have to leave their cars exactly how they were when the accident occured or something as if CSI is going to arrive on the scene and magically figure out what happened. I saw a t bone accident at night near the bottom of a hill where they stayed in the middle of the road and had their lights off! let alone put any hazzards on. Sorry thought I'd agree with a rant of my own

Well if its like the rest of the kids around here, they were probably running summer tires and driving too fast (which would have to be 4mph in the slush this morning and having summer tires). But ya the police will have to move your cars out of the way as soon as they get there. They wont move you only if theres an injury or the car cant move on its own.

Yeah the other day there was a line of cars going into a left lane exit of the Garden State Parkway (yes I know left lane exits are stupid to begin with...and left lane on ramps, both of which it has)at a time of day that I wouldn't expect it. As I got a little closer I see there was flashing lights...apparently some idiot spun out on the exit and disabled his car so they were towing it and of course everyone had to slow down and look compounding the fact there is a growing line in the left lane......some people.

IT HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY! Holy hell what the s***!?!?! The conditions this morning weren't even bad. Same spot, only this time at the light. Some raving douche bag in is douchey H3 towing a trailor crashed into the back of an 18 wheeler. There was a big bad piece of yellow plastic in the road and the mighty H3 caved hard.

Did they move out of the way? NO! They sat at the light blocking up a lane and a half. No hazzards! Jesus christ people!

Douchey H3 driver. If you are a big enough jerk off to drive that car, I guess you are a big enough jerk off to leave it blocking traffic while you sit on your cell phone.

None taken but true massholes or usually just agressive, and do things like trun left from the right lane, and we have no clue how blinkers work in normal driving conditions.

I think its a worcester thing... stopping in the middle of the road andholding up traffic seems to be popular in these here parts.

The Garden state parkway and Jersey turnpike are scary beyond reason. I have much experience on both. People in jersey just dont care if you live or die. First time ever driving there i was 17, just got my license. Was driving a mini van in 5 lanes of traffic. I was in the forth lane over (left) going 75 and i was being passed on both sides like i was standing still. I have to turn on extra masshole mode to drive in that state

I learned how to drive around Boston, so I know of what you speak. Most Bostonians can't drive a stick, because one hand on the wheel and one on the horn leaves nothing to shift with.
Speed limits are suggested guidelines, and I swear the drivers in nice vehicles stuck behind someone poking along in the left lane will let the POS pickup truck five cars back come up to ride the jackass's bumper until they take the hint and move out of the way. It's about the only time they cooperate on the road.

Use the blinkers? What, give the enemy advance warning of your plans, are you crazy?

This is my favorite, I actually heard a guy lean out his car window and yell this at another driver at a stoplight. You have to imagine this with a thick South Boston Irish accent. I won't even try to write it with an accent.

When I got my license i was very disapointed to learn I would have to share the road with other people. No one told me that in drivers ed.

when I got into my motorcycle accident, there were two cars totally not paying attention and looking at my accident and ran into the car in front of them. Unbelievable how stupid some of these drivers are. The worst one was some woman that somehow took the wrong exit and drove on the wrong side of the highway and took the next exit backwards and almost ran into me.
