"Genuine" Mazda All-Weather mats - disappointing durability!

Nope...I use the retention hole and hook .... since day one.
Strange thing is... the mat clearance problem only started a short time ago and I've had the car three years. Weird, huh?

It might be your rubber clutch stopper are missing or wore out. This will allow the pedal to travel deeper. Clutch wear would cause the engagement point to get higher but its normally unnoticeable on hydraulic clutch type.

I'll have to look under the pedal and see if that's the case. It seems strange that a year ago I never had the clearance problem with the clutch pedal and now I do.
BTW, I ended up clipping a small corner from the upper left of the mat and have no further problems with the pedal snagging the mat.

finally got my weathertechs a month after I ordered them...super glad I bought them...waaay nicer than the OEM all weather mats that Mazda sells....kind of wish I didnt pick them up for my 3 :(

Hi, i am a new member on this forum. I received my DigitalFit today, the mats fit is perfect. My car as a manual transmission and there absolutely no problem.

Then it is settled - I am ordering mine this week. Thanks for posting the pic.

I just purchased the OE all weather mats against the recommendations of this thread. We shall see. :P lol.

I'm amazed that weathertech has a fitment for all 3 rows now, I dont remember seeing it last time I looked. I might just purchase the 3rd row all weather mat just to have it. I'm not currently using the 3rd row on a regular basis anymore. I have both the carpet and all weather sets, but the carpet ones have taken a hell of a beating in the last year with only 5000 miles. If I had been able to choose, I would not have gotten Sand colored mats.

Well, I decided to cheap out this winter. I laid my Mazda all-weather mat with the "heel hole" over a good spare "Pant Saver" black mat that I had leftover from another car. Traced, and trimmed it, and used a hole punch to cut a nice clean tether hole. Turned out very well, and I am happy with it for this winter at least. I still would like to buy the Weather Tech eventually.

Funny thing - I was in at the local dealer last week, and I noticed the new Mazda all-weather mat display. They are now either Weather Tech with a Mazda logo, or an exact copy of the Weather Tech. Now I suppose they will still say they the old design/supplier was not a problem, but I wouldn't buy that for a minute!

Bought the 5 sport 3 weeks ago. Bought the mats the same day. Luckily being in IL they arrived within 2 days of ordering. But with sales tax :(
Being IL there is salt and snow everywhere, with 3 days of use all 3 rows are covered in salt. Dread to think what the carpets would look like without them.
They are pricey ~300 for shipping + tax for all 3 rows but if I keep the car 10 years that is only 30/year.

glad to see the weathertechs fit w/ a clutch; the website still says 'no', but it seems they are just being overly careful (they probably didn't check the fit )
sweet that they have the 3rd row! I've got the youngest (and messiest!) back there so I need that.
anyway, the weather techs are $257.85 w/ shipping, I think I'll have to whip out the card and order them!
