General Coilover Question

Are these basically for racing or autoX? Would they be too rough for a daily driver? I'm assuming all brands would be somewhat similar as far as a rough ride, but correct me if I'm wrong.

yer there stiffer, harder. but get some with adjs damping, and u can set it nice and soft, or ultra hard. to be honest its about the same as running low pros on 18s really.

With proper shocks that can handle the spring rates, the ride will be fine. If they use crappy shocks w/ stiff springs, then it'll ride seriously rough. Ride also depends a bit on your ride height. If you're constantly hitting the bumpstops you'll have a jarring ride, but if you keep it high enough to stay off of them, it'll ride much better. I know that last 1 from experience in the miata lol

Well it looked like the Tein Basic kit was nice and more affordable but they have no damping.

I just went with Tein springs and struts, much cheaper, and it's pretty good ride for having the ride slammed
