I am considering selling the P5 to get a truck, I feel I'm getting tired of the modding game and just want something I can get in and drive. What do you guys think my P5 is worth? Here are some pictures:

It has 135k miles and it's in amazing shape. The car is very clean and has some mods but nothing over the top. I'll post a mod list when I get home.

What!? Why are you selling it? You just started modding and now you're going to buy a truck? Wow.

4500(maybe) or less

i'm afraid that that's a reasonable figure, specially since there's not really much of an aftermarket for protege performance parts or support for our cars. you'd probably make more money by selling off your aftermarket parts, and then sell the car stock. you'd still get a good price for it, i'd reckon, considering how clean and well-loved it looks. sorry to see it go, matt...

Blue book it. Part out the mods and return it to stock.

Mods will get high praise in a car forum, but when it comes time to sell, a smart buyer or a dealership doesn't factor modifications in as part of the 'value'. Quite the opposite actually, mods are often viewed as a liability...something the new owner will have to 'deal with' later.

I really like you're car and the stuff you've done to it. But don't delude yourself into thinking you're car is worth more than it is because of the work you might have done to it. Just friendly advice. :)

As for getting something you can 'just get in and drive,' what's wrong with the P5? Why not sell some of the mods and return it to a more 'daily driver condition'?

If I sell it I'm NOT parting it out. Parting out cars are a pain in the ass. Everything on the car will be going with it.

Once a moder, always a moder. I said the same thing when I bought my P5... and that only lasted 2 weeks till I got my intake.

A friend of mine recently sold his SRT8 for a truck, a tacoma, nothing like the low 12 second Lightning he used to own. He said he was just not into cars as much anymore and would rather spend his money elsewhere. Some people just grow out of it, I certainly never will.
Whatever you decide to do, Good luck Matt. I have appreciated your imput on here.

I've found a member on here who wants to buy my car. I just need to decide if I'm gonna pull the trigger or not.

i think price depends on location..i have saw p5's sell for as low as 3k..u would sell that 1 here in CT for 5-6500
