Gauges DRIVER311 style!

they actually are very very easy to see. I dont know why people would think otherwise.

i guess my point was that they arent in your natural sight line as you are driving, you have to make a point to look at them, not just glance down as you would if they were mounted on the steering column or A-pillar. but hey, whatever floats ur boat man

I like mine right in the line of sight. Usually when you are needing to monitor things at WOT it's good not to have to look that far down

looks good man but its sooo low is it easy to see while driving, i got my boost guage right byassed on my steering collum its seem to be the perfect place

yeah maybe you guys get a fix off of staring at your gauges but I keep my eyes on the road or tach. Once my booost is set it doesnt matter and I only monitor my afrs every once in a while. Its mainly there for tuning. Since I can tune then its just there for s**** and giggles right now. So why block your guages in the dash or put mounting holes into things. The part I modded is a cheap thing to replace if and when I decide to get rid of the car. So to each there own. I just prefer the clean approach. You guys can ricer the car up all you want. LOL

dude come on this is not rice plus i think your set is cool just a little to low for me but if i drove the car i might have a modified view

I had it like that on my evo with both boost and aem uego. but I just think there isnt enough room on the colomn for two gauges for my liking. Just seems to block to much speedo and tach for me. Oh well no biggie.

i will agree with u here, the protege dual gauge pods that forcefed made were very non-intrusive to the tach/speedo. Any of the other former protege guys probly know which im talking about, i wouldnt mind seeing a column piece similar to that developed for the 3

I made my own using a hacked up gauge surround and drinking cup. Bondo paint and bam! Pictures aren't so great my camera is acting weird! Kinda dirty too!

thats what I plan on going with in the near future. like next week :)

Sweet been doing some reading on the srtforums and seems like alot of mixed reviews. Some hate, some love. I just think some cant figure it out. Please do tell once you get it in. I think I might swoop one up. I found one for 200shipped.

I really like that but there is no way I could bring myself to mount it there on mine :D

its perfect only blocks the seatbelt light, easy to install the top peice on the steering collum just pops out and drill 2 little wholes..

Here is how I have mine installed. I too put it on top of the column. It does not block anything (even the lights). But the extent of the modification might scare some folks... :)

That one looks pretty good. The mounting bracket & wiring are all hidden. Clean.
