Gas pedal too soft?

So I got my new MS3 (Cosmic Blue, thankyverymuch), and I love just about everything about it. My main gripe is that the gas pedal "spring" is so light that if I relax my foot on the pedal, I end up accelerating. I have to continually lift my foot off the pedal just to keep a constant speed.

Does anyone else have this problem, can it be adjusted, or is my foot just too dang heavy?

I'm not a lead foot. . . really!

I'm sure you'll get used-to it.

It's throttle by wire, so is not gona feel like a regular throttle.

yeah, my foot was sore the week I got my car from the slight adjustments i always had to do..

You get used to it..

And sometimes now i rest my right leg on the side console while driving . Keeps my foot in once place because the weight of my leg isn't on my foot anymore. Most likely not good for my posture.
