Gas cap warning? 2018 CX-5 GT

I received the gas cap warning and i read that the solution could be replacing it for a new gas cap. I did and i'm still getting the message even tho it's been more than a week with the new cap. My car is a CX5 2018 Grand Touring

What do you guys suggest u should do next? Thanks in advance.

Might be debris on the filler neck. Try giving the top of the filler pipe a wipe around to remove any contaminents. Do it slowly so not to risk dropping any schmutz in the filler neck.

What was the warning? Was it a code or actual description?
Was the cap on tight and did you work it back and forth until the clicking stops?
