Gas/Brake Pedal Spacing

After about a week of having a blast with my new GT sedan, I do have one minor annoyance. Has anyone else noticed that the gas and brake pedal on the automatic equipped 3 are way too close together. Between the closeness of the pedals and the gas pedal almost touching the center console, I keep catching the side of my shoe against the brake when I go to hit the gas. I can't believe, with all the room in the drivers footwell, that Mazda couldn't put a little more space between the pedals. Oh well, I guess I will just have to get a pair of racing boots

get customized racing pedals.. tat will help adjust the spacing...
i dunno how much it'll clost though..

but i no how u feel.. it was the same when i test drove the manual
maybe cause ive big feet

I don't have that problem since I always brake with my left foot, and have for 45 years in automatic cars.

a 2 footer eh? I thought those were outlawed on the 70s?

I dont have the problem either....maybe u could buy those nice racing shoes?
