It's not the PRO... It's the Competition... Do the Firmware install... Or if you sell it. Tell the new owner about the "Free Upgrade"

its the 2001 model from what i can tell it does what the pro model does. Because it has the software that you can track on your computer. PASS.

Hey, I've nabbed Josh's old Competition meter. I can't wait til it gets here so I can upgrade and then test it at the drags or the track!

Its on the way my friend mailed it today. 2/14 I tried to get a tracking # but all they gave me was a customs # either way should be there in 4-6 business days

Yeah Brian, I downloaded the new firmware and have the PASS v2.0 software already on my PC waiting for it to get here. It has wonderful information in it by the looks of things, I don't think I will be dissappointed.

Just make sutre it stays plugged in and it will take like 10 Min once started...

Yes I know this thread is utterly old, but perhaps someone still has any idea. I recently bought an SS but it has major problems with accellerometer calibration, runs are very hard to start or not starting at all ("staging" 4ever).

Is it worth to try a firmware upgrade? And are there any sources (no support from manufacturer anymore :-(

i'd doubt its worth it anymore...android smart phones have an app...for $5...that does 20x as much as any of these GForce things could do...the market died completely it seems...
