SUCK BALLLS!!!!!!! RATE IS HORRIBLE TOOO MUCH BOUNCE WAY TOOO MUCH BOUNCE.. NICE DROP. BUT bad RIDE.. I GUESS WHAT IM TRYIN TO SAY IS DONT BE FUKIN CHEAP LIKE ME CAUSE U GET WHAT U PAY FOR. SAVE UR MONEY AND BUY SOME GOOD s***. OK im done. anyone agree?

The drop might blow the dampers which are out of their range of travel maybe. The dampers control bounce. take a look. It has been mentioned that some stock have failed without spring changes even. I got the Cobb for fear of going too low. You might just need new dampers. I am looking at Koni adjustable. But they will need to be be matched up to spring height and range of travel. imo GOODLUCK

No way i was between the road magnets and tein's and i bought tein and i have no complaints i love the ride much stiffer, sweet ass drop and they're green haha but seriously TEIN S-tech FTW

Anyone like Roadmagnets?? I am hoping to get stock like comfort when just cruising so my girl doesn't kill me, a nice looking drop, and more grip in the twisties. I think what I want is geared more towards cobb but I love the rm look.

Can anyone give me driving impressions?

u guys do make good points as far as the shocks go, BUT ive only had them on for aboout 2500 miles and i know anything can happen. i dont "think" the shocks are blown. it always had this type of ride. i asked a member about these springs before buying and he loves them. and did i mention that they are very noisy. front and rear sounds like im makin love to the streets. lol maybe i just got a bum install but how can u **** up springs??? but def not stock like comfort. ill be changing them out first chance. but thanks for the input and listening to my cry.

I have had the Roadmagnets on for almost a year and love them!!! The ride is far from stock but, it isn't that bad. My car isn't a daily driver either. The look and handling are superb. No complaints here!!!

oh its a little late but im bumping this thread lol i love my roadmagnets i didnt find the ride to be any more harsh than stock but i found it can turn a s***-ton better! lol yea i love them i do want new shocks i think it will only make it better...new shocks will be better on any new springs...its like new rims, do you want your old tires still? NO!

I got the Cobb's for that very reason. The roadmagnets, tein, h&r are way to low for the stock struts. If I wanna go lower I'll get coilovers.

I sprayed some silicone on the bottom hats or the spring perch. After. I wish I had layed a little grease where the springs contact the mount points. You should check some bolts for tightness after someone does your work. My car is quiet as it should be now but i also got some disturbing noises and went after them. One of them was not enough grease when i Installed sway bars. So i greased them till snotty and no noise now. The attachment point at the front strut tower will clunk if loose etc. Just some thought as I hate to see a fellow member disappointed

get coilovers, the BC's are great, and they are much cheaper than buying springs and having to replace your struts later on.

I also have the Road Magnets and love them. The drop is right down to the tires. I don't think I've put more than 400 miles or so on them, but they are great so far.

To the OP, how many miles were on the shocks when you put them on? Did you cut the bump stops like it said to do when they were installed?

I've had the RoadMagnets for a couple months now and they are fine. They can be a bit noisy though when going over big 'cracks'/bumps in the road but you have to listen carefully. The ride isn't harsh in my opinion and i drive every day. But hey, some people can stand the ride on springs, some cant :/

I have Road Magnet Springs and they are just fine. I daily drive my MS3 40 miles a day all in the city and have zero issues with a bouncy ride quality. I've also autocrossed them 3 times now and even finished 3rd overall out of 81 cars (PAX Scoring)

I'd recommend the Road Magnets to anyone looking for a sportier feel, an autocrosser not looking to spend money on coilovers at the moment, or someone who wants a nice looking drop.

for someone saying to cut the bumpstops, is that on the rear or front? I am about to install mine and Ive installed 4 sets of springs before on cars and NEVER had to cut any "bumpstops" in the past!
