Funny thing happened to me today....

Yeah this thread totally got jacked.

6'4" in a MS3! I'm 5'8" and still can't completely find the most comfortable position for me.

from what i hear, people about your height actually have more trouble with the proximity of the plastic to the right of the gas pedal. i've learned to drive this car with my seat further forward than any other manual i've had, in part so that i wouldnt have to move up if i have people behind me, but mostly because with the long clutch travel my release point is now more similar to where it was in my old car. i honestly have no problems being my height in this car... im used to much smaller, but this offers plenty of leg room and head room, both of which were lacking in my last ride.

5'8" 165 lbs. I'm like a cat... you don't want to corner me.

Edit: Or is that possum? chihuahua?

Yeah i've been messing with seat adjustments for the past 2 months. I think i've got this one perfect, but i'm too close I think.

And absolutely, I find my right knee resting against the center console all the time. The gas pedal snakes underneath the dash practically. I can barely drive with dress shoes on, as my right shoe constantly hits the brake so I have to slip it back under neath the brake pedal to the gas.

5'11" @ 280 Though I'm an ex powerlifter. Not not fat but not all muscle either. 42" waist. :o

LOL!!! Thats awesome. I was driving across base the other day and as I was making a right turn I heard somebody yell "SLOW DOWN!!" I turned and it was another MS3 owner (he is rarely on here though) laughing his ass off at me. LoL

The cop thing..... much more terrifying, if you ask me. hahahahahaha

I was waiting for the wife and kid outside the Babys R us store and a Northville cop rolled through. Stopped next to me, I assumed he was going to tell me to move away from the front door. He just wanted to know what dealership I got it from, complimented the look and asked if it was fast and if I paid sticker. I lied and said it was fast. LOL...

6'1" 265lbs

I love the seating position. I rest my leg against the center counsel (sp) and that it for me. I can just barely stretch my legs all the way out on long drives.

+1

maybe it's just for people 6' and above, but i actually like the center console being right there too. i can slide back in the seat and lean my leg right against it on long drives to avoid getting too much foot fatigue.

haha, great stories.

5'9" 190# of undefeated arm wrestling fury. :) haha.

I'm 6'3" 208, this is the best/most comfortable fit of any car I have ever driven.

+1 on the driving one mile to the gym thing. I think its lazier to skip the gym altogether. The strategy is to save the cardio for the end so you don't get as fatigued while lifting.

6'4" 330, 48 waist. Werkin' on it, 'kay??

I have more room in my MS3 everywhere than in a Ford 'Splorer AND my '94 TBird LX. I have more room than just about any car I've ever been in. Only diff is in the TBird I could stretch my legs out. In the MS3 it's not quite long enough so when I drive to my dad's (Indianapolis, IN to Antioch, IL) my knees hurt for 3-4 hours after we get there. I love resting the leg on the console though. Hehe.

...and seriously, its on the way to work! I go every morning, so my dimensions are somewhere between Arnold and Sly Stalone, i fit just fine in my ms3, but occasionally roid rage kicks in and ill rip the shift knob right off

Heh, sorry for scaring you like that. I've talked to a couple of 240 guys while in the squad car too, and it always freaks them out at first.

Just as a disclaimer to all of the Delaware folks on the forum...
1. I personally don't target tuner cars just for being tuner cars. That said, do something stupid in front of me and there's a good chance you'll get stopped, and may get a ticket depending on what you did.
2. I have no control over the actions of other officers and cannot get you out of tickets.
3. If you have any questions about motor vehicle code in DE, I can help you out as far as clarifying thing such as points, etc. If you feel you've been wrongly ticketed, I can help explain the law but will not tell you how to "beat" it.

Thanks and drive safe. :)

5'9'' 155 lbs. I'm trying to lose 5 lbs but my body does'nt want to give it up. My hobby is road racing, so I run just about every day. Ran 7.5 miles today in 93 degrees with high humidity. People think I'm CRAZY.

even more reason to be convinced at just how lazy most americans are... they think people who run are crazy. i dont run a whole lot, i get cardio in otherwise usually, but my dad is 51 and runs every morning, usually pretty long, no matter the weather. my friends would be at my house a few years ago and watch my dad go out and run... they were staying at my house because the snow was coming down so heavy and they didnt want to drive back home lol. they thought he was nuts too.
