So I was thinking today, what if you HAD to get a tattoo. What would it be? Where would you get it? I came across this idea watching Viva La Bam when they had to get a math problem tattoo'd on them to win a contest. All I could think of was a smiley on my ass or "s***" on the bottom of my foot lol. I don't understand why people think that tattoos have to have some sort of 'spiritual meaning'. That's stupid. A tattoo is like a piercing or a permanent piece of clothing someone has to express themselves. The one thing that I dislike about most tattoos is that people pick them out of a book of generic tattoos, so you end up with the same one as about a thousand other people. But in the end, if you like it, who cares.

Yeah I don't subscribe to the "spiritual" meaning of a tattoo, but I do feel it should have some sort of personal meaning, even if it is as simple as "hey I like that design!". Bottom line, it's your body so get what you want! These are the ones I have. I have loved clownfish since before Disney gimped them up in Nemo (even tho that is a cute flick ><) so I got mine un-gimped when I went to Cali this past spring. The ribbon around the finger is b/c I'm a scatterbrain and forget everything.

i have the kanji symbol for father on my right wrist...it took me years to figure out what i wanted...yeah, everyone has kanji somewhere...but i like asian decor...and asian cars...go figure, so the kanji just goes along with everything else. i want to get another one, but i'm not quite sure what to get...and until i'm positive, it's not going on my body.
