Fuel pump internals question

So I am in desperate need of an upgrade. Mods are dp, rp, cai, spark plugs, cobb ap stage 2. Anways at WOT my pressure will drop to like 1100. The car starts to shutter when I shift into 3rd, so I have to left off and wait till the fuel catches up, happens again when I shift into 4th. Anyways I think I'm going to go the internals route rather than a whole new pump which I think isn't necessary at this stage. Does an upgrade change your mpg at all? Which internals are you guys running, and what are you impressions. I particularly like the ptp ones because its a good company with a good warranty. What you guys think?

i didn't notice any increase in swamping the pump into my car. BTW if your looking for one ill be selling my PT-P internals soon.

lulz at MPG question! If you want fuel efficiency don't mod.

i was in the same boat once i installed my cp-e catted dp. rail fuel pressure would drop to like 800.
now i'm running the KMD's v2 internals and have for like 15K. they do the job and rail fuel pressure never dips below 1700 at WOT. Very happy with them.

Does a hpfp look noticeably more different then the stock pump?
Which would be a more difficult install, internals, or a whole new pump all together?

I don't know about the internals but here's a video I found on YouTube that shows how to install hpfp pump on to an MS3.

What about internals install. Is it pretty straight forward. I'm just debating whether go pump or just internals. The prices are pretty much the same.
