fuel pump internals break in?

What is the actual process? I have searched up and down with practically no answer. The internals are autotech if that matters! Pic of the car you guys could be helping. Thanks in Advance!

with the ptp internals they recomend 100 miles light driving but in my opinion 10 miles is more than enough ...thats what i did with all 3 of my fuel pump internals..

Samario, I'm curious as to the internals themselves? I saw that you are in CT, where abouts? I have an 07 Speed3 and I have been thinking of internals VS an upgraded fuel pump that comes with a warranty. Obviously, money and warranty are the factors. I do not have a place where I can perform the job and thought you could shed some light on the subject. PM me maybe. And thanks in advance.

My 2 cents about the fuel pump: If you heard 100 miles, do 100 miles. It's better to be safe than sorry. Just hit the highway, put it on cruise and take a small road trip.

100 miles of normal driving, where pressure variations occur. highway driving is bad for any kind of break in, for the most part; engine break in, fp internals break in.
