Fuel filter location for 2003 protege(non-turbo)

where is it? sorry if it's a dumb question I've been searching throught the whole forum and i can't find the answer. please answer me back someone it would help a lot!(stash)

Not for sure but i think its connected to the fuel pump.

It's my understanding that there's a fuel filter integrated into the pump housing. There is a mesh sack on the fuel pump inlet, but that's not a true filter... just something to keep any debris in the tank from making its way into the pump.

in the tank. It's part of the pump assembly. It's a mesh sock like previous poster stated

great find.... i guess the pro5 fuel pump setup is different... cuz mine looked nothing like that one
