Fuel cut and forge bpv

:
03.5 MSP
I have an 03.5 msp and I just installed a forge bpv and it doesn't make a pinging noise like others have said, it sounds more like the stock one is this how it should sound? And I only have an aem intake and sls hardpipe and whenever I step on it it jerks a lot what could this be to?

stock ecu with stock tune...rich air/fuel ratio and the forge bpv is a OEM replacement so it should sound like the OEM bpv

the forge is just a metal body replacement that allegedly holds boost better.
so yes, it should sound the same. for your mods, probably sounds like a turkey (more like a pigeon to me.)

i dont know what would cause the jerking. mine has an uneven powerband but thats probably due to the unflashed PCM and my AFR, which reads "10.0" under boost.

also where are so many people getting this idea that the forge valve somehow pings? this is the second or third time ive seen it come up lately

when I was stock and i just went into boost it didnt used to jerk, only after I started modding it. Could it be that I finally need a tune?

not sure if you did the cai at the same time as the bpv but there was a member on here not to long ago that was having similar issues and his maf was backwards.

the ms3/ms6 forge pings. thats what im running, but i get a chirp of turkey that covers it up because my bpv inlet on my injen isnt big enough
