AEM short ram intake originally is for M6s but fits perfect in CX-7,
only installed for a week.

dude, i realy wanted the BOV and the cold air intake! where did you get them from? i found a site, but it looked cheap..
and i'm not sure if there is any forced induction for the BOV..
did it work fine on your cx-7? doesn't the atmos. release make the car burn rich and run like s***?

not sure if i should buy without knowing if it's gonna work fine..
i really would though

the HKS BOV can be install in recirculation or atmosphere, it come with both components.
the HKS BOV will give you better accelerator response and AEM SHORT RAM INTAKE will give you more HP(thumb)

Thread jacking for a second. I have an aem intake as well from the Mazda 6, but I'll probably be selling it for the CP-E. The wife says the turbo sounds are "annoying."

I'm hoping the CP-E will be slightly subdued since its down in the wheel well. The intake definately helps in power, I think you can feel it throughout the powerband. The stock airbox is really restricting the engine.

When/if I take the AEM off and sell it, I'll start a thread.

Since I'm in he market to buy the HKS I was looking for some reasearch because it seems most of gone with the Forge BPV or the Twin BOV. So I wondered what was so bad about the HKS if any maybe just the price.

Cut to the chase I have a CPE CAI and a HKS BOV on the way and I sure hope it doesn't sound like that I've heard the CPE CAI / Forge combo and feel its a little to much pshssh but this guys set up sounds more like a squilll... (eek2)

Any ways two questions I would like to ask the OP may not get an answer

Why did he want to sell both what reason for both?
And did he sell?
