Well I am selling my various projects and consolodating to something that more meets my needs. So I need to sell the protege. This is a great car and will make someone very happy. The car goes fast, turns fast, and stops fast. and it can do all that and still get 30mpg.
I dyno'd last year and got 223whp. That was with 9psi of boost. since then I added a 626 single runner intake which most MSP owners results about 15+WHP from this single mod. So the car should be around the 240WHP mark now. And I have not run the car over 10psi.
believe it or not, I have only been to the drag strip with it once. it ran a best of 13.96 that night with 9psi.
It is a Ti gray 2003.5 and currently has 31500 miles.
The turbo setup is MAM's stripper kit with a ION FMIC. In the pics the car looks a high, that is because I raised the coilovers to clear some 18" wheels I was using for a while. I plan to lower and re corner balance and align it before it sells. I just wanted to get this out so I snapped these pics last night. I have some with it at a normal height I will attach too. also I have the valve cover with the mazdaspeed engine cover too if you would prefer that. Any other questions or concerns let me know.
Considering everything done and how clean this car is I feel like this is a great deal and I priced it to move. Please spread the word to all your friends brothers and in-laws if you agree.
