Front Wind Splitter

Found one from another car that I will be buying and trying on if everything work's out I will be posting a full How To and link....

acutally a lot of people use the material that you would find on the bottom of garage doors (the rubber along the bottom) as a front lip. that might sound crazy but its pretty common. as far as a front splitter, to my knowledge there is none that fits the stock p5 bumper without any modifications. but i am sure you can find one thats close in dimensions and get it on there.

but if you get a msp front lip there is actually a splitter that fits right onto it but I am not sure who makes it.

What about the MP3 factory wind splitter? I likey mine. Has saved my front bumper from a coupla tire carcass incidents that would've damaged the front bumper had I not had it. Subtle and it fits inside the factory bra for long frwy trips too.......

^^^This. I have the same lip on my P5. Its subtle and not too "ricer" but still looks good. The one littlemimus posted looks good too, but usually when it says "email for pricing", its too much for me :(

Think it was 60 something shipped from onlinemazdaparts dot com.

define "modifications" do u mean just drilling holes in your bumper to push nuts and bolts through or some thing more involved ?
i found this http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a48/JDMGoSpeedRacer/siggggggggg.jpg
but thats a mps front bumper. would it still work ?
any one know of any how to's ?

i have never seen that splitter before so it is probably a custom job of some sort and it might work on a stock p5 bumper but there is no way for me to say for sure. by modifications I really mean anything from having to drill holes to doing some cutting on the actual piece. basically anything more than just bolting it on to the car you can consider a modification of sorts.

personally I would just get a DG lip (which is what I actually have!). they look great and really fit the car very well, so well in fact that it looks stock which might sound odd but in reality there is nothing better than modifying a car and making it look factory at the same time.

i gotta admit, that banner looks like it might obstruct your view a bit while driving! but yea that lip is really really subtle which is perfect if you want just a bit something more.

thanks for all the help guys. i considered buying a autoexe or dgm lip but they are too much to get shipped to aus and then i would have to get it painted on top of that. thats why i decided on a wind splitter because i wouldn't need to spray it. the p5 one is to suttle for my liking. thanks guys
