Front Suspension "Clomping" Sound

Hi Everyone,

First post, so good to be here. I think it is great how much everyone loves their CX-9... we live in the Middle East and have a 2009, and really love it too! We only get two models here, a base car (essentially the US GT) and a Deluxe GT (The US Touring) here, all with AWD standard. My question is this. The ride is very supple (our GT has 18" wheels) in most situations. But, once in a while I will go over a tar strip, like someone has covered a small trench and put too much asphalt over it, and there is a secondary "clomping" noise from the right front side of the car, almost like there is something not quite buttoned down. It takes just the right type of road "bump" to make it do it, but it doesn't seem right to me. I only have 500 miles on it so far, but thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this "not so frequent" noise. Thanks for any input.
