Front strut bar install?

I have a 03 Protege ES and I'm thinking of getting a strut bar and am wondering how hard it is to install? Do I have to modify anything or will it bolt right up? I've searched but could not find anything on the topic. Thanks

it's not hard at all.

if you get the OEM bar you will need the mounting brackets and cruise control actuator bracket, or you can modify your cruise control acuator bracket to fit. you should also get the bracket for the EGR boost sensor and solenoid, or you can modify your bracket to fit.

as far as an aftermarket bar, i dunno how well the cruise control bracket will work with it. i have an OEM one. maybe someone with an aftermarket bar and CC can chime in on that.
