Add in AWD... and I think the STi has the edge.

yeah but with awd you have more power loss through the drivetrain. a twin charged protege with a huge turbo like his is pushing what minimillay 12 psi from the turbo and at a minimum 8 from the sc? hed be making about what 300 hp AT LEAST? but then again im not quite sure about the exact amount of boost hed be pushing out. and in a car that weighs 2700 lbs or so.... idk . at that minimal level of the calculations i put in the sti has a very slight edge, but with a sc he would have immediate power then the kick of a turbo past 4000 rpms. sure the sti will pick up faster off the line but from a roll, or in the long run, i think the protege would beat it every time.

shane how much power are you making at 25 psi

and boosted how many pounds of boost did you plan on running from t he turbo and how many from the sc?

arias forged 8.5:1 pistons, k1 forged rods- new. pistons are lightly used. they look new. i'll give a good deal on a package. they're ready to roll!

I disagree. My brother has an 03 Evo with 400awhp and I stomp him by 3rd gear. He will get the jump every time, but I have more top end with a similar RPM range. The parasitic loss is quite a bit on those awd's and plus the weight really bogs them down. I drove his car plenty of times and loved it, but I would still take my P5 over his any day.

lol. thanks for sticking with me fellas. I am actually going up tuesday to drop my transmission to Kooldino to be built with the par gears.. this really got me wanting my car. i sent my coilovers out to be rebuilt today. pretty excited for this. thanks guys!
