Fredericksburg P5 spottings...

I never EVER see any P5's around here, except for like one silver one at the Central Park Tweeter all the time. Well today, I didnt drive my car, I had to take my old beater in to get new tires. So of course, I see about 10 P5's all afternoon and I am driving my POS!

First, I did a rideshare home from the Pentagon to Rt 3 (all the DC residents know what a slug is right? lol) and rode with a guy in a Laser Blue 5-speed... I asked about his car, told him I had one, but he wasnt very talkative (I know the rules, we arent supposed to talk, but I figured he was into his car and wouldnt mind, oh well, guess everyones not a car nut like me!). Then, I saw a red one, lowered with 17s, and another yellow one, saw a dark blue with that (ugly IMO) fade-job tint that starts out mirror and ends up black on top, saw a silver one with an older guy driving, and had a guy in an ES tailgating me when I was getting onto Rt 2. There were others too, but mostly older drivers.

If anyone from F-burg is on here and recognized being mentioned, just saying "hey".

surprised you never saw my car! I'm not driving it but none the less...mine is Red on 16 inch gunmetals, so if you see it wave to my mom...she's the one driving it right now.(sniff) The silver one at Tweeter belongs to my friend Jason; his is a nice show car.

(and i work in DC so I know what slugs are.. we have a bunch of people that work here that slug..)

I love those gunmetals, I want those for my car eventually, except I planned to go with 17's. I dont remember seeing it around though. I need to talk to your freind Jason, I have been considering installing a Sat-radio system...

Oh, and slugging has been pretty cool so far for me. I put almost 10K miles on my P5 in 3 months, so commuting was killing it! Now I drive 8 miles to the commuter lot, and then nap for an hour on the ride in, and reverse on the ride home!
