Ok I bought a replacement Forged WGA and I requested it be assembled with a spring suitable for 9PSI and well I assume they did. I had it installed and I'm still hitting the same 5ish PSI i was before. Do i need to adjust the rod or is there something else I'm missing???
Thanks

I'm pretty sure you need to make the rod shorter. I just put mine on, and i adjusted the rod length to as short as i could to slip it over the post it needs to connect to, and i'm spiking to about 5 psi and holding at about 3. So, i'm going to shorten the arm even more, and use a pump to extend the rod while i try and connect it to the post for the wastegate. I just gotta figure out why i'm getting spikes, when i never had them with my ATP wga.

just curious before I purchase this. Would removing the manifold make this install easier? The reason I ask is Im going to be ordering the thunder manifold in 2 weeks. And I wanted to go ahead a change the WGA while I was in there. But I ve seen alot of people having problems. Thanks

Yes, this would be very simple to do with the manifold/turbo off the car. With it on, its a pain in the butt. Unfortunately i don't have good advice on which WGA to go with, because while my ATP seemed to work fine, it only lasted 20,000 miles, and the forge WGA is now giving me spiking.

Ok i've been really lazy and haven't tried to adjust my wastegate. Has anyone else tried to see if thats what will give me more boost? Also would anyone have an idea on to how much shorter you would make it to get round 8 or 9 psi out of it?
