Forged internals

What company makes forged pistons and rods for mazda protege 01? I'm turboing a reg. protege it's not the MSP and i want to run really high boost so i'm going to need a transmission to handle it also. please let me know if you know what i'm looking for. along with some one who reflashes ECU's because i don't have enough money for a stand alone right now.

if you dont have money for a standalone, you shouldn't honestly be getting into this boat. it might sink without warning.

I sort of have the money for the stand alone but if i could get buy for a couple of mounths on a reflashing then i would do that. because so far i have had the car 6 months and 9 days and have already invested over 7500 in it. not including the nos kit, seats, the money i have waiting on building up the internals. thats alot for a high school kid.(parents didn't pay s***. they hate my addiction). im running the stock 2.0 engine. horsepower goals=350-400 stock block max.(or so i hear.)

350-400? 235-275 is my goal. 235 our cars would be able to hang with sti/evos in lbs/hp

We sell C-P psitons, any setup you may want. We also have four brands of rods for your engine. We now have new gears for the trans along with ring and pinions. We have a few choices in gearing for both the ring and pinion and gears for the trans.

You do not need a standalone. The MPI Tuner is on more Proteges on this forum and it powers all of the high power Proteges on this forum. Plus with the extra injectors you will not have to deal with all the BS the race/standalones bring.

Ask the people who are running the MPI how it great it works. As long as you install it right and you have no issues with your car,you will be on top.

If you drive it daily, find another car. Lots of downtime.
And how did you manage to put $7500 into it? Some details on your current setup.... I am interested. Pics also.
Also, don't go over 8 or 9 psi on stock internals. You should go with the MPI tuner, people on this forum like it. You should already have an EMS with your current mods.

BTW There is no point in going over 300 WHP on a front-wheel drive car.

Well lets hope we never meet on the road.... I am under 250 WHP so you would have me by quite a bit! I live in Holland, just a jump away from MI.

not to be funny or anything but what is a MPI? where do it get it and what what set up on the internals would you suggest to go with.(IHI VF22 turbo kit.)do you happen to have a guess on how much having the pistons and rods put in are going to be? isn't there some porting going on when doing that? oh yeah does anyone make high end cams for protege's?

scrprotege, a lot more work will have to be put into the engine than just forged internals. for your hp goal, be ready to spend +$12000.

MPNick makes the MPI tuner it is a piggyback system that controls both timing and fuel. Do a search on it there are many many threads about it.

The MPI will hold up to my hosepower goals? Will i still need to get my ECU reflashed? Or does it take place of the programing
