For those of you with a Aftermarket or modified intake, is the car more jerky?

I have a corksport intake installed on my 14 touring, post 3/1 build. When the engine is cold, the throttle is really touchy, causing unwanted jerking with the slightest of throttle inputs, once it warms up, the symptoms pretty much disappear. does this happen to you guys with the corkpsort? the injen? I know alt east a few others that experience the touchy throttle with a cold engine. Stock intake does not do this, i changed it back just to see what happens. I used higher octane to see if it helps but its the same

Mine is a bit touchy with the stock intake. If I hop into the car after working nightshift and don't let it warm up about 30 seconds, when I ease out the clutch it takes off fast!

Which Corksport intake do you have? Is it a short ram or a full length one? I asked them whether or not the full length Mazdaspeed 3 one was compatible with the Mazda5 and they said it wasn't. I'm having a hell of a time finding a full length cold air intake actually made for the 2012+ Mazda5. There's very little out there and when I do find something it's always for the older 2.3 Mazda 5. Pretty discouraging...

I have a k&n typhoon in the 6 and I don't consider it to be jerky, it does give me some nice power and exhaust sound when I get on it though. That is when my daughter is not driving it of course. Lol
