What tires did you run on them 205/40/17?

I had 205/50/17 mazda3 tire size when I bought them they were too big for p5 but did'nt rub,then 215/40/17 but they wore out fast they were a bad brand, I run 215/45/17 on my car now they ride nice not too stiff but not as ruff as the 40's
