For Sale COBB AP new in box

removed pricing advice as requested, FYI from your last thread

Against PayPal rules to ask for this, just figure out the difference and ask for that much.

Well then, buyer beware this seller.

It's not just about Paypal's rules. Gift payments are strongly discouraged by Mazdas247 because they put 100% of the risk on the buyer. If you decide not to send the item, you get to keep the money because it was a gift from the buyer to you. Both asking for gift payments, and passing on fees to the buyer, can get your account suspended.

If you want $582.40, just ask $582.40. Gift payments are for gifts, and nothing else.

also please add pictures that show all 3 items in one pic opened, not just one and 3 boxes.

paypal as gift or plz cover the fees
ga.aspx

It's against PayPal terms of service to pass on paypal fees to purchaser... Also, v2b's are going for $400 now since v3 has come out.

Lol.....looking to dump them cheap when OP's asking price is near V3's territory. Good luck selling these overpriced AP.

I have one for $425, shipped/fees included, with pix of it being unmarried.. Wasn't sure about upgrading, but I'd like a bigger screen, the DH is hard to use on track days.. Otherwise, I'd rather not have a $600 unit loose in my car..

Now that the V3 is out new or not the V2's are in the $300-$375 range elsewhere. The goal shouldn't be to screw fellow enthusiasts.

Paypal gift?!? (notcool) If you can find folks willing to purchase them for that much scratch you can more than cover the fees.

Additional advice below thanks to For Sale Moderator nate0123

First: Make sure the seller has posted the required pictures with their userID, the date and "Mazdas247.com" written on a piece of paper with the item. Not only do these photos ensure that they have what they claim they have but they also document the current condition of the items they are selling.

Second: If the item is being shipped, we recommend paying with Paypal. Provide a clear description of what the payment is for and perhaps even include a link to the thread, your userID on the forum, etc. The more info attached to the transaction, the more clear-cut a case you have should you need to open a dispute later on. Paypal has built-in buyer protections and the more info you provide the better.

* Note...Under no circumstances should a buyer send a Paypal payment "as a gift". This is a very risky payment method that leaves you vulnerable to scammers.

* Another Note...It is pretty common-sense but never send personal checks, money orders or cash for online transactions.

Third: Fund your Paypal payment with a credit card. If the transaction goes sour and Paypal isn't able to resolve the situation, you have a second layer of protection. You can file a "charge back" through your credit card company. These two protections are sufficient for most transactions.

* Note...There are other services such as escrow.com (fees are higher than Paypal) that do not release the money to the seller until you receive the item or you can ask the seller to open a private Ebay auction for the item. Ebay's buyer protections are more thorough than Paypal's but like I said, for most situations the above three items provide sufficient protection.
