And for the USC fans as well.....

How are you people fans?

Did or do you....

A. Attend the University
B. Live near the University
C. Plan on Attending the University
D. Know of more than 5 players on the field.

I am just trying to weed out all the bandwagon fans that both team seem to have around the nation.

Myself, I rooted for USC because I like what Bush can do, but I am not a fan. I am an ASU fan because I belong in the B. and C. categories (I was livid when USC beat Arizona State).

Just rooted for my Texas team.......not a huge fan.

EDIT: MSwerd for me

I rooted for Texas because I like Vince Young and have seen many of their games this year. But I'm a LSU fan for sure.

I lived in Long Beach for 4 years. I only route for teams that I leve near, and it just happens to be that they are usually good when I live near them.

Example, Lakers won all their titles except the last one when I lived in LA. Auburn started kicking ass again as soon as I moved back to Alabama, and now the seahawks are going to the superbowl (well not NOW, but soon). I am teh instant good luck.

I wanted to see USC continue their winning streak, not really a fan though.

I'm a MIZZOU fan. Brad Smith is the s***.

I rooted for Texas for 2 reasons

1. I was tired of seeing USC win :D

2. I went to Mizzou so I wanted to see a Big 12 team win.

was planning on attending USC but the ol' lady got pregnant and things went a little differently as planned... but always was a fan of USC since i was a kid... my oceanside boy Jr Seau ran that place!!!

born in texas, not a huge fan of college football, but thats my home state.....I root for my college team, Coastal Carolina University.......but we are in a different league because we are only 3 years old........however they are pretty nasty......took out JMU this year.

yeah, I just wanted a Big 12 team to win and for USC to lose...

everyone kept comparing them to the best teams ever and they weren't even close. Leinhart was just looking to be king for a year while he f-ed around in SoCal. and to cap off my anti-USC ranting; this is why Leinart is a dick and everyone can smile to know that he didn't show up to win when it counts and now the fates laugh at him by making his future team the 'Aints:
The Sports Guy Diary said:
12:26 -- In his postgame interview with Holly, Matt Leinart throws out a classic, "I think we're a better football team, they just made the plays in the end," backhanded compliment before heading to the Roosevelt Hotel's pool bar with Nick Lachey. You're right, we shouldn't have played the game, Matt. That was stupid. You guys were better.
but since he's more than likely going to be an 'Aint this fall I guess he's going to have to get used to thinking that the better team doesn't usually win...

I live in Austin so there, lol. I normally don't root for UT though because all I ever hear from people around here is UT or A&M and burnt orange gets sick to my eyes. However, since I am stuck in hellhole TX, I'll root for them. I like to see the underdog win in most cases, reigning champions are almost always too cocky.

Me and my dad go to all of the UT home games, have for 10+yrs. I work 2 blocks away.

USC was lucky they didnt get beat worse. If there is one thing that still plagues UT is coming off of a bi week. They get out of sink. If we would have played them the week after our last game man they would have been done for. USC has had to many close games so I knew we would win. And before some one says we got lucky so did USC. We had 1 play that should have been called down. But USC and 5. The officials wouldnt call anything and USC was getting away with everything. Even with that the better team won.

On a funnier note, we just went and got the tattoos. We all make a deal that if UT won we would go get a tat. Well the tat was small and I think its to plain so now I have to go get some more done to it.

I rooted for Texas because I go to Ohio State and if we're going to lose to them I wanted to see them win the National Title and also because I'm tired of seeing USC win. But props to Bush and Young they're kinda good...

Well, sucks to be UT next year though, Vince Young is more than likely going pro. Let's hope UT can do the same next year.

i know more than 5 players on the field.... well 4 at least.
My friend also attends the university, and i had ambitions to and still do.
Ive been a longhorn fan since i started watching football, and my family is an a&m family so thats gotta mean something?
