I'd love to have a '69 Camaro. Don't get me wrong, I love the Camaro,....at least the old ones. I hate the new ones. They have to be one of the ugliest cars to ever come from GM. And don't even get me started on the bubbly lines of the Firebird. That thing is just hideous. And there are $30,000+ F-Bodies. Only idiots buy them though. And even with the money saved on buying a base Camaro, then spen that money in suspension mods, it still won't touch an S2000 on a track. I'm sorry but it just isn't going to happen. Now if you start saying "stip it down, no interior" etc. Then do the same to the S2000 and the Camaro doesn't stand a chance. A guy on S2KI by the screen name Krazik has lap records to 2 different tracks with his stripped down S2000. The only mods he has are CAI, exhaust, and a few suspension mods. But nothing outrageous. His has better lap times than some Z06's. But he's also running R Compound slicks on all four corners.RyanJayG said:oh and just so you dont get pissed, I love F-bodys, and I almost bought a '68 before I bought my mp3.... but ever hear of the ZL1? it was around $50,000 STOCK! but was VERY rare.

And turbo MP3's kick major ass. But it just needs rods that are stronger than dry strings of spaghetti.
