For a limited edition car theres a bunch at the dealers.

ok guys...here is the scoop i got from a dealership i visited. the distribution of the msp is based on dealerhip status.......based on location/sales/size. i visited a dealership in st. augustine,fl where i work and they could not even get one.

Faulkner in north philly has about 5+ on the lot, mostly 2003.5s, but one black 2003....selling for 17,768...I bought mine from them the day they rolled off the truck for 20K...oh well...

Yeah I got mine in Feb and paid 19k.
Mazda just did not do a good job of selling the car.
They gots ta get betta pimpin skillz...
Put that b**** on the corner and sell her!
Mazda should have made sure they didn't **** up her ECU so all the Test "Johns" wouldn't like like her and write bad reviews cause then your customer base just says,"Well she is a pretty ho but she aint no fun in bed."

For **** sake make some TV commercials with varoius people listening to Heavy Metal and driving around a road course zooming past the camera at all different angles, e-brakeing, and sliding around pulling some ******* G'S and screaming like a bunch of coked up Indy car drivers.

Get a real marketing dept. DAMN PEOPLE Have a ******* clue Mazda! That kinda s*** gets people excited and excited people come into show rooms and buy CARS!

In the nine months I've had my MSP, I've only seen 2 others on the road...a blue and a yellow.

When I bought my orange one there were only 3 in the entire state to choose from. But then when I got the PCM flash the tiny dealer where I bought mine from had 4 3.5s on the lot. I think it's really because of how horrible the car ran when it was released. I've met 2 people here that test drove the MSP and didn't get it because the hesitation reared its ugly head during the test drive. Hopefully Mazda learned a lesson, but I doubt it.

On another note, there are oodles and oodles of RX8s at every dealer I've been to in the state. They just flat out are not selling around here for some reason - I've never seen one on the road - just in dealer's lots.

i'm looking to get one but the closest Mazdaspeed dealership is 2+ hours away from me and the true market value price is $19,000.

I was surfing the web and I found that a Texas Dealership Roger Beasely Mazda has them for $15,995.

Are they selling that bad they would sell it for 4,500 less than MSRP?

I think the Rx-8 is over priced to tell you the truth
I love the car my self but I would but a Evo before I bought the rx-8
The dealer by me has a ton of rx-8's they do not deal on them at all and they are all the top of the line model, they say 31,000.00 but at my dealer they are all $35,000.00

yeah...I' have only seen one on the road, and mucho at the dealer lots...I think the 2+2 isn't selling to the sports car market ...they're competing against the 350Z, G35, etc...Once again Mazda has managed to short us on HP...the RX-8 has only 250, and that's the manual version only..auto's get less. They need to rebirth the RX-7 turbocharged with 300+HP if they want to sell the things!

i've had my MSP since may, and ive only seen 2 others. a black mica 2003, and a titanium 03.5 that i saw in cary. one saturday. i t
think they just made too many of them.
they weren't marketed right, and the hesitation problem didn't help much.
