Footrest?

OK...I don't want this to become a post for bashing us automatic drivers, but...
Does anyone know if there is anything that will cover the "dead pedal" footrest area. The Mazda carpeting does not seem very durable, and the floor mats do not cover this area. I only have about 700 km on my car and it looks like it is already starting to wear.

Any ideas?

Check Ebay for "dead pedal". They usually have a good variety. I don't think there are any out yet specifically for the 3 but as long as it looks good and is about the right size, I'm sure it will do the job. I'm looking for one as well. ;-)

Well.. after looking at the pedals you notice the name Razo. Did a Google search for 'razo pedals' and found several links to sites that sell their product. (boom04) Holy crap, $600+ bones for some pedals? No thanks. Some good stuff on that site, www.alamomotorsports.com, but that much money for some pedals is waaaaay out of my league.

Might try a homebrew dead-pedal this weekend..
I'm thinking some diamond-plate from the local Lowe's and some adhesive backed velcro..Let you guys know if I actually do it.. (wiggle)

The Diamond Plate sounds like a good idea. Simple, cheep, effective, goes with the 3's style. Hmmm
